What to Bring on Your Boat Rental

A little preparation goes a long way toward a smooth, fun day on the water. Here is a simple checklist for your boat rental.

The essentials

  • Sun protection - sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. The sun reflects off the water and is stronger than you think.
  • Water and snacks - stay hydrated, and bring a cooler with food and non-alcoholic drinks (check local rules on alcohol).
  • A light layer - it can get breezy on the water, especially in the morning or evening.
  • A dry bag or ziplock - to keep phones, keys and wallets safe and dry.
  • A valid ID - and, for self-drive rentals, a valid driver's license.

Nice to have

  • A towel and a change of clothes if you plan to swim.
  • A waterproof phone case for photos.
  • Bluetooth speaker for music (keep the volume neighborly).

We provide

Life jackets, safety equipment and a full safety briefing are included with every rental, so you can focus on enjoying the day. Just show up ready for fun and we will take care of the rest.
